Arrive at Paro Airport or Phuentsholing Gate - Representative from” AriseDev Tours and Treks “will receive the guests at Paro Airport or Phuentsholing. While travelling by air, it is mandatory to carry passport. While entering Bhutan through Phuentsholing Gate, entry and route permits will be processed at Phuentsholing Immigration Office.

Changangkha Monastery - Discover the oldest Monastery (Temple) in Bhutan, where new born babies in Thimphu receive names.
Tashichhoedzong- Once a Buddhist monastery and a fortress is presently the seat of Royal Government of Bhutan and also the Central Monastic Body, including the summer residence of the Je Khenpo (Chief Abbot of Bhutan). It is an impressive structure, which houses the throne room of His Majesty the King of Bhutan.
Crafts Market – Shopping for souvenirs from the crafts market. Visitors will find an interesting assortment of genuine Bhutanese handicrafts and textiles available for sale here.
Stroll Clock Tower and Thimphu Town- Stroll around the heart of Thimphu city. Witness the buzzing crowd and check into local shops and handicraft stores. Do not forget to try the delicious local cuisines.

Tango -Tango monastery is about half an hour hike from the parking area. Originally, it was the resident of Phajo Drugom Shigpo in 13th century. It was rebuilt in its present form in 1688 by Tenzin Rabgye, the 4th Temporal Ruler of Bhutan and 1st Tri Rinpoche. The monastery was restored in mid 1990s and now the residence of 7th Tri Rinpoche, the young incarnation of Tenzin Rabgye. It is also a Buddhist university.
Cheri monastery -Cheri monastery is at 45 minutes’ walk distance from the base, Bhutan’s first monastery and was built by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1620 after overcoming a local demon. Cheri is still an important place for meditation retreats for many monks.

Travel to Punakha-Punakha, the journey to second capital of Bhutan will offer you picturesque views of green mountains, water streams, paddy fields, traditional Bhutanese house, etc.
Dochula Pass and Druk Wangyel Lhakhang-Enjoy breathing in the fresh uncontaminated air, admiring spectacular views of snow-capped Eastern Himalayan mountain ranges, Ii is built in honour of the fourth King of Bhutan. The temple houses the biggest golden butter lamp (4.5 feet tall) in the country, including a foot tall intricate stand of sliver.
Chimi Lhakhang-Get blessed at the fertility temple. It is a common belief in Bhutan that barren women will be blessed with the birth of children if they pray at this temple.
Khamsum Yuley Temple-Enjoy an exciting hike to a temple on a hilltop, overlooking the Punakha valley. The temple is a classic example of gorgeous traditions and architecture. The trip through the woods is very refreshing as the trail is surrounded by pine trees
and beautiful views up and down the valley.
Punakha Dzong-Visit Punakha Dzong and also experience walking through one of the longest suspension bridge in Bhutan, 350m and perched high above the very swift river of Po Chhu..

Gangtey Gompa-It is a beautiful place of rolling hills and green meadows surrounded by snow-capped mountain, from there one can closely view the picturesque Black Mountain ranges as well as the beautiful Phobjikha Valley.
Khewang Lhakhang -The picturesque and small Khewang Lhakhang (temple) is located just opposite to Tabading across the marshlands in the middle of the Phobjikha valley. It is believed that the location for this temple was prophesied by the famous? Divine madman? Drukpa Kuenley (1455-1529) when he visited the valley.

Travel to Paro -A journey to historical place that holds many sacred sites and temples, providing breath-taking views of Mount Everest, Kanchen Junga and other Himalayan Peaks including scared Jhomolhari and Mount Jichu Drake in Bhutan.
Dumtseg Lhakhang -Dumtseg Lhakhang -Located in the heart of Paro town, the construction of this temple has freed the valley from leprosy as per the history.
